Polling Unit Ambassadors of Nigeria (PUAN), a group of election observers in Nigeria, has presented the National Assembly with a sensibilization and awareness campaign against election rigging and inducement of voters through vote buying.
PUAN additionally took the mission to the Autonomous Public Discretionary Commission (INEC) at its central command in Abuja and said the thought was to introduce redflags against electors’ prompting to leader of the Senate, Dr Ahmed Lawan, and director of INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu.
Lawan, who received the electoral ambassadors, waved a flag against voter bribery and urged all Nigerians, particularly youth, to vote according to their conscience rather than buy or sell their votes during elections.
