Dr. Elizabeth Agwu, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Anambra state has pledged to use both spiritual and physical means to ensure that anyone who engages in electoral fraud during the 2023 general election in the state is punished.
The head of INEC assured major stakeholders in the state that the Commission was committed to providing equal opportunities for all political parties and their candidates to test their popularity among voters during a meeting to ensure that voters were properly mobilized to participate in the poll.
“I am ready to die if that is what is required of me to make sure that we conducted this coming elections in a most credible, transparent and acceptable manner; I have been a pastor for 22 years; I have been assured that if I die, I have my place in Heaven, so I am not afraid of death anymore”, she stated.
