The family of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos has pleaded with Nigerians to disregard the rumors about the APC presidential candidate’s background, health, and age.
While reassuring that the presidential candidate’s health is being well managed like that of any other person over 60, the family maintained that Aiwaju is a genuine son of Tinubu’s.
According to TheGuardian, Dr. Ade Ekemode, Chairman of the planning Committee, urged Nigerians to give Asiwaju a chance to right the country’s wrongs in an interview with The Guardian, noting that the country is currently at a crossroads.
Ekemode, who is also a member of the Olori ebi Sanusi wing of the Tinubu family, urged Nigerians to vote heavily for Asiwaju in the 2023 election to consider Asiwaju for the presidency.
He stated, “We are aware of the state of Lagos before Asiwaju became governor. Even when the federal government withheld the state’s allocation, he contributed to the development of Lagos by generating revenue for the state.
