In Yangoji village, Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), armed men have kidnapped a seven-year-old girl.
Suleiman Musa, a villager, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that the criminals broke into the neighborhood early on Wednesday.
He claimed that the thugs entered the village and opened fire before breaking into some homes and kidnapping the seven-year-old girl.
He claimed that the police team’s rapid response prompted the shooters to flee the village.
According to information obtained by NAN, the Kwali Divisional Police Headquarters responded to the attack’s distress call at around five in the morning on Wednesday.
According to a source, the community was spared additional damage from the gunmen due to the quick action of police officers, hunters, and vigilance members under the direction of the Kwali Divisional Police Officer (DPO).
