Treasure Ayuba, the last victim of the Bethel High School student abducted in Kaduna, has been released.
On July 5, gunmen stormed the Damishi Secondary School in Kaduna and seized 121 pupils.
While others were liberated, Ayuba was the final victim to be released.
On Thursday night, the Nigeria Baptist Convention (NBC) announced Ayuba’s release.
In a statement, NBC President Rev Israel Akanji announced his release.
“Glory to God!” he exclaimed. All praise to God!! God be praised!!! Treasure Ayuba, the only boy remaining with the bandits that abducted 121 pupils from Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna on July 5, 2021, has just returned home today, November 2, 2023.
“We give thanks to our unfailing God.” Thank you very much as well Thank you so much for your prayers and generous support.”
