Sodiq won the title ahead of veteran strikers Sikiru Alimi, Jide Fatokun, and Olamilekan Adebayo.
With five assists in five games this season, the dynamic right-back leads the Nigeria Premier Football League assist table.
Sodiq will be looking to add to his score when Remo Stars visit the Pantami Township Stadium this weekend for an NPFL matchday.
In six games this season, the Remo Stars have four victories and two losses.
Daniel Ogunmodede’s team is fourth on the standings with 12 points.
