Seven Super Hawks players have been assigned for the 2023 CAF Player of the Year grant.
CAF revealed the 30-player waitlist on their X handle on Tuesday.
The Super Hawks players are current holder of the CAF Player of the Year grant Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Rasheedat Ajibade and Christy Ucheibe.
Others are Uchenna Kanu, Osinachi Ohale and Toni Payne.
In the Youthful Player class, the threesome of Deborah Abiodun, Esther Ajakaye and Tosin Demehin got it done.
For the best goalkeeper classification, Nnadozie will slug it out with 10 others while Randy Waldrum is in the running for the Mentor of the Year.
In the mean time, Nigeria is likewise in the race for the Best Ladies’ group for 2023.
Super Birds and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen was selected for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year grant and Gift Orban got shortlisted for the Youthful Player classification.
The honor service will be hung on December 11 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
