Mr David Greene, Charge d’Affaires at the US Consulate in Nigeria, has guaranteed visa candidates that the mission is focused on settling all visa-related issues.
Greene made the vow during a meeting with newsmen in Abuja.
He said visa inconveniences would be a relic of times gone by, and the mission is doing its absolute best to address such difficulties.
“With regards to visas explicitly, well obviously it is a straightforward truth, the interest for visa arrangements dwarfs the inventory.
“Along these lines, those arrangements are accessible and we are giving our very best for address that hole. What people cannot deny is that this year we have talked with in excess of 150,000 Nigerians.
“However, we have gained extraordinary headway. In Spring we organized a five-year term for visas to the U.S.,” he added.
He encouraged individuals who need to visit the US to apply early and to ensure their visa demands were connected with explicit occasions.
