The Maitama District Hospital has been exonerated of any responsibility for Greatness Olorunfemi’s death.
The government-appointed independent investigation panel of nine people looked into the hospital’s alleged negligence that resulted in Olorunfemi’s death.
The panel, which was formed in October, completed its investigation into the incident on Wednesday and submitted its findings in a detailed 94-page report.
Olorunfemi was stabbed and thrown out of a moving vehicle after boarding a one-chance crime cab in Abuja.
She was rushed to Maitama District Hospital in critical condition, but the facility refused her admission.
The panel, on the other hand, stated that Olorunfemi was brought in lifeless by Good Samaritans who discovered her by the roadside.
