The Katsina State Police Command has announced that vehicles with covered plate numbers will be impounded beginning Monday, December 11.
ASP Aliyu Abubakar-Sadiq, the Command’s spokesman, announced this in a statement issued to newsmen in Katsina on Thursday.
“This is to inform the public that the command has observed with great displeasure the proliferation of driving motor vehicles in the state without or with covered number plates,” he said.
“In view of the above, the command is giving the motorists an ultimatum of Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, that their number plates or their vehicle will be impounded and face the full wrath of the law.”
