A sixteen-year-old Taylor Quick fan was killed in a head-on crash with a semi-trailer while en route to see the pop star in show in Melbourne on Thursday.
Mieka Pokarier was being driven by her mom to the show when the SUV they were going in was engaged with a crash with the semi-trailer in no time before 6 p.m. nearby time, CNN partner 7 News Australia detailed.
Mieka, who was in the front seat, passed on at the scene, neighborhood police said. Her 10-year-old sister, who was in the secondary lounge, is in basic condition at a neighborhood medical clinic, 7 News Australia detailed.
Her mom is being treated for minor wounds.
Melbourne police said the crash occurred around 30 kilometers (18 miles) upper east of the city of Dubbo.
“The driver of the SUV was treated by NSW (New South Ridges) emergency vehicle paramedics prior to being taken to Dubbo Clinic with minor wounds,” New South Ribs police said in an explanation.
“The back traveler, a 10-year-old young lady, was carried to Westmead Medical clinic in a basic condition,” the police proclamation added.
Taylor Quick goes to the 66th GRAMMY Grants at Crypto.com Field on February 04, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.
The misfortune follows the passing in November of a Taylor Quick fan before a show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. That demise came in the midst of a record heatwave that had provoked Quick to delay a previous show.
Benevides Machado, 23, supposedly fell at the arena and later kicked the bucket.
“This is the last thing I at any point thought would happen when we chose to carry this visit to Brazil,” Quick said in a proclamation on Instagram at that point. “I couldn’t in fact let you know how crushed I’m by this.
“I won’t have the option to talk about this from stage since I feel overpowered by misery when I even attempt to discuss it.”
In Australia, a GoFundMe page has been gotten up in a position support Mieka’s family members.
“I live for “My family. I’m crushed,” said her dad, as indicated by 7 News Australia.
