Victor Osimhen could be on his way to Arsenal in January if the Premier League club decides to activate a break clause in his pending contract with Galatasaray. According to reports from Turkish outlet A Spor, the Nigerian striker’s contract with the Turkish giants, which he is set to join from Napoli on a season-long loan, includes a special clause that allows only 10 clubs to trigger a transfer during the winter window. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich are among the select few teams that can exercise this option.
The deal between Napoli and Galatasaray is packed with specific clauses, one of which permits a January exit for Osimhen if the right club comes calling. The player’s release clause with Napoli is also set to decrease to €75 million by July 2025, making him a more attainable target for top European clubs.
