The funeral of the late Rotimi Akeredolu, a former governor of Ondo State, is scheduled on February 23.
This is stated in a burial plan that was made public on Monday in Ondo by the departed eldest son, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
After a lengthy illness, Akeredolu passed away on December 27, 2023, in a German hospital.
According to the agreement, the funeral ceremonies would take place in Ibadan, Akure, and Owo from February 15 to February 25.
“On Wednesday, February 21, the State Sports Complex in Akure would host the laying in state. On February 23, the funeral service would take place at St. Andrews Church in Owo, with burial to take place in Owo thereafter.
