All Progessive Congress (APC) has depicted guarantee by Public Executive of People Democratic Party faction (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu, that the resistance will win Lagos State in 2023 as “foolish and ridiculous”.
While Ayu was in Abuja receiving the second leg of the Special Reconciliation Committee report for the Lagos and Osun chapters, which was led by Eyitayo Jegede, he promised that the party would take 25 states, including Lagos.
However, Seye Oladejo, the APC’s Lagos State Publicity Secretary, clarified: With PDP’s disastrous electoral performance for more than two decades, Lagos remains an impenetrable fortress.
He stated, “The opposition PDP’s reckless and unfounded claim that it will win Lagos and 24 other states in the upcoming elections has caught our attention.
