The Kano State government has come under fire from well-known Nigerian activist Aisha Yesufu for their decision to outlaw films that encourage cross-dressing in the region. the State Government issued a warning against movies that featured images of thuggery in addition to outlawing those that showed cross-dressing. The go-ahead has been given to increase the electricity prices for users in the Band A category by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). Musliu Oseni, the Vice Chairman of NERC, declared that electricity rates will increase on Wednesday during a news conference in Abuja. According to a CNN investigation of photos and videos from the aftermath, the lethal Israeli attack that killed seven aid workers from the nonprofit World Central Kitchen (WCK) in Gaza on Monday appears to have involved several pinpoint attacks.
