Today, March 25, at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House in Kaduna State, Uba Sani, the state governor, met with the 137 Kuriga pupils who were saved over the weekend from the bandits’ camp. The investigation into the deaths of 17 troops in the Delta State town brought service chiefs before the Senate Joint Committee, which is made up of the Army, Navy, Defense, and Air Force committees, on Wednesday. As you may recall, on Thursday, a group of military personnel on a peacekeeping assignment in the state were ambushed and killed in the Okuama hamlet located in the Ughelli South Local Government Area.
