Cannabis Sativa (Marijuana), a Dane pistol, and other things valued more than N51.1 million were intercepted by the Nigeria Customs Service in Oyo/Osun Command.
Comptroller Ben Oramalugo, Customs Area Controller, revealed in a news briefing on Friday, November 10 November 2023, that the Command recovered 64 bags and 150 compressed Cannabis Sativa from various places within its authority.
Other confiscated products include 1,248 pounds (50 kilograms) of parboiled rice, 425 pounds (25 liters) of PMS, 24 bales of old clothes, and 1 used bag.
The prohibited narcotics weigh a total of 777.5kg and will be turned over to the NDLEA on Friday, November 10, 2023.
