Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the former governor of Ekiti State, and some members of the state house of assembly, according to Gboyega Aribisogan, the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, are collaborating on his impeachment.
Aribisogan made this allegation while speaking in an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
After Aribisogan was elected Speaker on Tuesday, security personnel sealed off the Ekiti assembly complex on the basis of the possibility that disorder might break out there.
However, the Speaker pointed the finger at Fayemi and blamed the former governor for not acknowledging him since he was elected Speaker.
