Four writers were shot and injured in southern Mexico on Tuesday, authorities said, the most recent in a progression of assaults that make the country one of the most hazardous for correspondents.
Assailants on a bike started shooting at three of the writers around early afternoon in Chilpancingo, the capital of Guerrero state, where they were covering a homicide, the nearby examiner’s office said.
