As Israeli bombardment escalated on Friday evening, Internet connectivity in the Palestinian enclave was disrupted, halting the flow of photographs for the first time since October 7.
On Sunday, October 29, the battle between Israel and Hamas entered its twenty-third day. The Israeli army has been continuously bombing the Gaza Strip, which has been governed by Hamas since 2007 and is home to around 2.4 million Palestinians, since October 7, and has killed over 1,400 people.
According to NetBlocks, an internet connectivity monitor, Internet connection in Gaza was disrupted on Friday evening. At the same time, shelling targeted the enclave’s north, specifically Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun.
