The Commissioner of Police (CP), Lagos State Command, Mr Ayoade Fayoade, says the force has reactivated its tracking device to checkmate kidnap and one-chance incidents in the state.
Fayoade talked with the News Organization of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos, against the scenery of worries raised by occupants on such episodes kept in pieces of the state.
“We have measures set up, we have reactivated our GPS beacons. We have our men in regions we have recognized as abduct inclined regions, as Igbogbo, Ijede, this water side, even Idimu region.”
“The instance of abduct we had in Idimu, we had the option to checkmate and kill, we got the casualties into security without paying the payoff requested. We have great estimates set up; inside as well, we have our men, they’re additional noticeable to deal with issues from a single opportunity.
“We won’t permit them to overpower us so they don’t raise their terrible heads,” he said.
The CP said the state police order was especially working with its Ogun partner and sister security organizations to really look at wrongdoing in the boundary regions.
