According to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries’ Monthly Oil Market Report for November, which examined oil production performance in October, Nigeria now ranks seventh on the list of crude oil producers.
Nigeria’s result was a simple 1.014 million barrels each day in October, positioning seventh after Saudi Arabia, Joined Bedouin Emirates, Kuwait, Iraq, Angola and Algeria.
Nigeria’s production was 1, however. During the month of October, Angola produced 1.051mb/d;1.060 mb/d in Algeria;2.811 mb/d Kuwait;3.188 mb/d, UAE;4.651mb/d Iraq;as well as Saudi Arabia,957mb/d.
According to PUNCH, The Equatorial Guinea produced 57 b/d, while Venezuela produced 711 b/d. Iran, Gabon, and Libya, among others, did not produce a barrel during the month.
In terms of crude oil production, Nigeria used to be fifth, behind countries like Algeria and Angola.
