President Tinubu, represented by the Senate President, recently emphasized the importance of infrastructure development and urban renewal during the commissioning of several FCT projects, including Roads B6, B12, and Circle Road. These projects, completed within one year of his administration, are seen as vital for economic growth, social integration, and national development.
Tinubu highlighted that efficient transportation networks are essential for achieving these goals and expressed pride in the completion of these roads, which aim to alleviate traffic congestion, reduce travel time, and enhance connectivity within the nation’s capital.
He commended the efforts of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Barr Nyesom Wike, and his team, as well as all stakeholders involved in the projects. Tinubu also reiterated his administration’s commitment to further infrastructure development as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
FCT Minister Wike praised Tinubu’s leadership, noting that the completion of a road initially awarded in 2007 within just one year of Tinubu’s presidency exemplifies effective leadership. He emphasized the importance of leadership in achieving such remarkable results and attributed the success to Tinubu’s direction.
The commissioning ceremony serves as a testament to the progress made in infrastructure under Tinubu’s administration and highlights the importance of visionary leadership in achieving developmental goals.
