Aminat Yusuf, the top graduating student from Lagos State University (LASU), was congratulated by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday.
Yusuf, a law student, was recognized by Sanwo-Olu on his Facebook page for accomplishing a rare milestone by becoming the first undergraduate in 40 years to achieve a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.0.
He praised Yusuf’s accomplishments, noting that her commitment and effort had paid off.
“In Lagos, we respect quality, commitment, and hard work.

”I am also thrilled to hear about the outstanding academic achievements of 282 students who achieved first-class honors in the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 sessions
