Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, the minister of transportation, has stated that the Abuja-Kaduna train’s security features will ensure the highest level of passenger safety.
Sambo made this statement while he was riding on the train to check out the security features and other measures that have been put in place to protect passengers and prevent attacks in the Abuja-Kaduna corridor after service resumes.
According to LEADERSHIP, The minister was accompanied by the minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman Hussein Adamu, minister of state for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye, chairman governing board Nigeria Railway Corporation, Ibrahim Musa, directors of the Federal Ministry of Transportation and the managing director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation Fidet Okhiria.
