Muazu Sambo, the Minister of Transportation, wants the country to have a stronger railway system, especially as the current administration slowly winds down.
Sambo expressed his satisfaction with the project’s progress during a courtesy visit to the railway headquarters in Lagos on Thursday with his team.
He gave the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.), a round of applause. for bringing back the country’s railway system.
He praised Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transportation, for his unwavering dedication to ensuring that the standard-gauge railway is built so that Nigerians can reap the benefits of democracy.
